Riverside Aquatics is a family run business with many years experience within the aquatic and Reptile hobby.

We are established in a 19th century converted Chapel off Burgess street in the centre of the historic market town of Leominster Herefordshire, there are ample both free and chargable car parking facilities within the town.

Mission statement

Riverside Aquatics mission is to ensure all customers to the aquatic and Reptile hobby and throughtout their hobby life time are given the best possible professonal advice on the keeping and managing of both tropical and cold water aquarium fish and reptiles along with top quality live stock all ancillary equipment, foods and treatments. We are not here, just to sell Fish and Reptiles.

Live stock

All live stock are quarantined untill they are ready for sale, all fish stock are in separate filtered tanks so no water is mixed from one tank to another to keep stock in the best health.
Live stock is guaranteed for 48 hours with receipt and water sample.

We offer a unique personal service of advice and sales, on our tropical and cold water fish and reptiles, from first time start up to the established hobbyist, in a warm and friendly enviroment.

Mail order service

We are happy to provide a mail order service on all items for those customers that have difficulty in coming to the shop in person. Please phone for details.

We are pleased to anounce that we have a new member of staff Connor Collett who you already may have seen around the shop, we took Connor on one day aweek as a work experience student and from day one Connor took a great interest in both the aquatic and reptile side of the business.

We have a wide range of tank ornaments and small tanks to suit all budgets, small tanks are Betta and Aqua one..

We have a variety of tank decor from plastic plants,plastic ornaments and our favorite is our large Betta ornaments, tanks, plane wrecks and boat wrecks these really make any tank come alive!

Most of our plastics are from the Betta range and Classic which are of the highest quality...

If you like the natural aquarium, we have a wide selection of tropical plants.

All our plants are flown in direct from Singapore so they arrive fresh and healthy..

Here at Riverside we like to try out product before we sell them and one of them will always be Fish foods!

One that we love has to be New Era!  very clean food with no hiden nasty`s and at a great price!

Tried and tested at the shop! we have had great results from the flake food, pellets and the one we really like is the Pleco pellets!!

The flake food is normaly gone in seconds and the same with the pellet foods and does not seem to cloud the water, like some other foods on the market!
But the Plec pellets stand out more to us, as plecs will not always feed when the food is dropped in ( Day or Night ) but the New Era does not make the water cloud over even when the food has been sitting in the tank! which has got to be a good thing :)
